Recycling Services

On-Site Data Destruction Services

SLS works with companies to manage data center relocations, as well as technology maintenance, upgrades and retirements.  We support corporate data center decommissioning, systematic removal and resell of server racks and IT assets for large data centers and secure data destruction for all types of storage media.

Our decommissioning, resell, recycling and data destruction services adhere to corporate compliance protocols and data privacy regulations.

Typical repurposing of equipment includes

• Harvesting usable spare parts from older equipment for use in upgrading or extending the life of existing equipment

• Packing of assets, including shrink wrapping pallets
• Secure shipment to SLS processing facility where assets are resold or recycled

• Routine rack removal and hard drive destruction for mega data centers
• Data destruction services including SAN removal, hard drive destruction and erasure. We also destroy data on backup tapes and flash media. Certificates of Data Destruction provided for all services. Data destruction services adhere to NIST 800-88 r1 guidelines.
