Do you have concerns for your organization’s data security? Have these concerns threatened your drive to grow and expand your online efforts? The London Digital Security Centre was established in 2015 with the aim of helping businesses operate in a secure digital environment. Founded by the Mayor’s office for Police and Crime (MOPAC) and in partnership with the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) and the City of London Police (CoLP), the Centre offers organizations tailored workshops, training and solutions through their MarketPlace.
The MarketPlace is comprised of product partners that offer solutions to help businesses be more resilient to digital crime and online risks. The website describes product partners as companies who “must be leaders in their area, of good repute and financially sound”. For example, in the IT asset disposition industry, Sims Recycling Solutions (SRS) was selected by the Centre as a product partner. Sims Recycling Solutions’ (SRS) IT asset disposition services which include guaranteed data erasure solutions, provide London businesses with the ability to manage their end-of-life devices and IT equipment with reassurance their data is securely destroyed.
Membership for the London Digital Security Centre is free of charge. Members receive personalized support including an assessment, security scorecard, online training and reports. Taking control of your digital security is critical to sustain a business that allows for innovation and growth.
