Local Toastmasters group presents award to acknowledge company’s 100-year anniversary.
Sims Recycling Solutions (SRS), a leading provider of global IT asset disposition (ITAD) services, was presented with a Toastmasters Corporate Recognition Award to celebrate the company’s 100-year anniversary. The award was presented by Toastmasters Region 2 International Director, Jim Kohli, during their group meeting last November.
Toastmasters International Director Jim Kohli stated, “Toastmasters International is grateful for what Sims does to help make the world a better place – both through its work in recycling and through its sponsorship of a Toastmasters club.”
Sims Recycling Solutions is a sponsor of the Voices of Lincoln Toastmasters (VOLT) club and hosts regular group meetings at the site in Roseville, California. Training offered helps professionals improve their public speaking and leadership skills.
“Sims Recycling Solutions encourages continued education and skills development, which is why we are happy to accommodate a workspace for local Toastmasters members, some of which are employees of the company,” stated Sean Magann, global vice president of Sims Recycling Solutions.
