SLS’s Commitment to a Circular and Sustainable Future
As a key division of Sims Limited, SLS plays a critical role in advancing our parent company’s sustainability goals. Our efforts are not only about helping clients manage their IT assets responsibly but also about reducing carbon emissions and fostering a circular economy.
We have established ambitious measurable goals to achieve by FY25:
- Carbon Neutral Operations: We aim to achieve carbon neutrality across our Circular Centers. To date, we have achieved a 72% reduction in emissions against our FY20 baseline.
- 100% Renewable Electricity: We are on track to power all SLS-owned sites with 100% renewable electricity; over 99% of our global Circular Centers already using renewable energy.
- Device Repurposing: Our goal is to repurpose 8.5 million electronic devices by FY25. In FY24 alone we repurposed 6.1 million units, significantly reducing e-waste and extending the lifecycle of valuable resources.
